yes he does! Mine was built at a the same time as his. Mine should arrive at the dealer within the next 2 weeks as it is currently enjoying a train ride South, as we speak!

Ha thats funny. Now reading it, I have no idea why I called my JLUR a car. What was I thinking?! BTW-I did not realize that had actually posted. As you can see I did not finish my thought in that paragraph. To leave on a good note: it seems my JLUR Punk'n has made the train ride half way as of this morning. But, three days to go 300 miles ...

Ok I ordered a Pumkin metalic Sport S 4 dr. On 2/9 On 3/20 I was told I was in D1. All week the same. On the 26th I was told I was in D again and I asked for an explanation. Today I actually got a call from someone at Jeep Customer service. Told that in fact I was in D due to a problem with the pumkin metalic paint supply parts. He did not have any specific info other than they would probably be holding up Punkin metalic production until the 1st week in April. I asked some questions and he did not have specifics other than what I have just stated. Bummed. But at least I know something more than I did and can relax until the 1st and then start obsessing again....

It will be interesting sometime in the future for me to park my early production unit next to a later production and compare the paint color and character. Maybe our early ones are actually non metallic? Who knows?

Was actually thinking the same thing. I am curious if there will be a difference in the paint from our earlier models, especially since there has been such a long gap between production for some reason. I could definitely see the “metallic” component being a possibility as mine literally has 0 metallic to it despite it being in the name.

Went to Golling on Telegraph because they were the only one around here with multiple manuals in stock. I rewarded them for making my test drive possible. I'll get employee price, so whichever dealer i picked was going to make a fixed, non-negotiable profit.

Mine is (will be) very similar, also I have a Orange Torino and a School Bus Yellow Boss Mustang, I guess I like primary colors.

As an idea. If any of us that have ordered a Pumkin Metalic Jeep gets a status change please post and let us all know. My dealer is telling me that he has a firm ship date of 4/12. This could fit the timeline given. Fingers crossed.....

I was told 4/14, so we will see. I am hoping they will be on the rails shortly after then, but I have a sneaking feeling that it will be later, at least for us who has all of those wonderful options that are causing delays outside of the Punk’n paint. Individually a few of the options would cause a little delay, but add them all in with the Punk’n paint and we seem to have the perfect storm of delays.

So far, others have mentioned Dual Tops, LED package, Color top, body color fenders, and for all of us in here Punk’n metallic paint. (And the other late avail colors).

I have everything except body color top. So I am not surprised it is going to be a longer wait.
