Did I break something? I just did a 3.5 lift on my 2020 2.0 and ESC needs service is displaying. The steering wheel is off less than 1/4 turn and it is in for alignment today. I did put too much pressure on the rear diff wiring when the jack faded downward too far on me. The electric locker still works though. I'm just a DIY guy not a mechanic lol. Any ideas?

You didn't break anything. The ESC light coming on after the lift will go away after driving it a few miles, normally. Nothing to worry about. If the light is still on after the alignment and you've gone through a drive cycle, then you may have an issue. I would expect the light to go out on its own though.

I hope so!

The light usually comes on because the steering wheel isn't straight. Once you adjust the drag link, it will go away. I wouldn't worry about it. If you're getting it aligned, you'll be good to go. You can straighten the wheel yourself, but if you put adjustable arms on, the alignment shop will get it all fixed up for you.

Oh, you mean not until it is aligned.
Correct. The steering angle needs fixed. You can do that on your own.

If you installed a lift with fixed arms, then it's a simple DIY adjustment. If you installed adjustable arms, they'll fix the steering wheel as part of the alignment.

Either way, your drag link needs adjusted before the light will go away. Once that's done, drive it and the light will go away on its own.

The alignment solved the ESC service message. Thank you very much! I got the tires on the stock wheels and waiting for my wheel spacers.

Your Jeep looks great! Is hate to be on the wrong side of that front bumper. It will not buff out! Lol

Right! I never looked at it that way. I reused the red hooks off the stock plastic bumper. I'm not sure how they look exposed like that, but keeping them for now. From that angle all those d-ring mounts pointing forward...does look a little funny. I just couldn't see spending $150 for a flat link on winch. Maybe I should get some spike lug nuts sticking out on all five wheels. LOL!

I think it looks great! Jeep did a nice shaping job on the factory bumper hook mounting flanges, so it doesn't at all look out of place fully exposed.
