Houston area lift installation

If you’re in Houston and need a shop to install a lift or other customizations, I highly recommend Chris at Tank Customs.

I had trouble finding a shop to install my lift. My dealer’s aftermarket accessories markup is ridiculous—not a reasonable option. I talked to a couple other shops who were clearly not up to speed on the JL. It was very frustrating. I posted something on the forum complaining about this, and Chris saw my thread and reached out to me on the forum to offer his services.

He does great work. Really knows a LOT about jeeps, suspensions, etc. he really treated my JL like it was his own. We’ve been dealing with the bowing issue on the Mopar lift, and Chris has been all over it. Really has gone above and beyond to troubleshoot it.

If you need some aftermarket work done in Houston, definitely hit him up!

Jay, is that a Mopar lift, and are those the original 33" KO2's that came on the Jeep? Your Jeep looks awesome!

He is running the Mopar lift.
If my memory is correct, In the picture with the lift he is running 315/70r17 KO2's (35's)

That's correct. And I just ordered the Quadratec Rubicon Xtreme wheels in black. Because I have a problem and I can't help myself. Haha!

Those should look nice on your JL!
I have a problem when it comes to Jeeps too, but currently the aftermarket can't keep up
