Just saw this in a gladiator a few weeks ago. I like it a lot. I would be interested in your thoughts after a month if anything changed. Thanks for posting!

I have had the CargoDog installed in my Jeep for over a year now and it's been great. I did have to make some adjustments to make it fit my needs but all in all it has been great.

I just installed mine on a 24 my rubicon x the weird gap cover seens to be too big for the new gap. What did you guys do? Also i forgot to replace the bolts not used in securing the cargo dog . Will that be a problem when the weather gets wet? Finally i just plugged into one of the usb c ports But i can’t get the lights in the box to turn on am I missing something? Or is the usb-c hub bad ? Do both sides have lights ? I cant find a light on one side?
And lastly what about plugging the power into the 120 ? Volt 3 prong outlet ? Is that too much juice for the cigarette plug adaoter that comes with the cargo dog box?

I modified my gap cover and will take some pics later today
i would replace the bolts
i tapped into the USB port wiring at the back of the console and used a harness with a Deutsch style connector
There are led light strips on each side and there is a cable that passes from the passenger side box into thd drivers side box that needs to be plugged in

I have been using a Cargo Dog for over three years. It is a fantastic product. Mike the owner is an enthusiast and great guy in general. It is by far one of the best mods that I have added to my Jeep. I secure probably a couple thousand dollars worth of gear in the Cargo Dog. It has been a flawless in operation and super easy to instal or to un install.

Ok here’s some pics. I added continuous loop cam buckle ratchet straps running under the boxes to lash stuff down on top if needed. If not the loose ends are rolled up and tucked into the box. Also took some Klein tools headlamps and epoxied magnets to the back and attached to the boxes. I mssed up the clips and receivers on the gap cover and ended up using nutserts and black hardware to hold the piece in plac. Also fabricated some little filler pieces to cover the open area between the gap panel and the wheel well. And fabricated two boxes from 1/4“ ABS to use the space in the rear seat footwells

I made my own harness from the Cargo Dog box to the USB wiring inside the back of the center console using this style of connectors. Just so I could have the Cargo dog box hardwired but still be able to easily disconnect the power in order to take the boxes out.

I don’t know about the three prong plug.

As @Mine&Hers suggests, check that you have the switch in the center compartment on. Check that you have power to the center console USB port. Then check the fuse for the USB port.

Then maybe a call to the manufacturer.

@Terrymo Do you have any pictures of how you made the panels for the gaps ? How did you get those little alligator clips back together for the factory gap cover?

CAD (cardboard assisted design) and these contour gauge profile tools. I actually installed the Tuffy Security Products in floor locking lid for the rear cargo cubby so I used the factory carpeted plastic lid to make those little filler pieces. Sorry no pics, but here’s the contour gauge profile tool to copy the curvature.

I bought several different aftermarket clips trying to get that gap filler panel to sit flat but it was still bowed a little in the middle. I ended up putting 3 nutserts in the sheet metal under the gap filler panel and using black stainless 1/4-20 hardware to bolt it down. Here’s the clips I used. I think I tried and couple of different ones that were close but not exact
