Throwing caution to the wind, a JLWF member took on the hotly debated topic of tow capacity and endeavored to see how much the JL Wrangler can tow by hitching his boat to his 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler 4-Door Sport.
The boat was a 2018 Bayliner VR5 with an approximate weight of 4200-4400 lbs and according to our member, the JL performed awesome. I got up to 65 MPH effortlessly, there was no perceived difference in handling and the Wrangler stopped the boat and trailer very well with no pushing.
