I am a new first time wrangler owner as of 2 weeks ago and wanted one for a long time. Just seen this youtube video on jeep testing at the chrysler proving grounds and figured I would share because it's pretty cool. I actually live about 17 miles from this place and I had no idea they actually did jeep testing in there.I thought it was just on road testing. I grew up dune buggying and one of the older guys in our club worked at the proving grounds doing mostly on road testing stuff. I can remember him telling us about crazy testing things like getting a car going fast and then pulling the hood release to see what damage occurs to try and improve it. Figured some people might enjoy watching this.

So the 8K winch was spec'd.. as I suspected. An 8k is fine even with the weight of the 4XE Rubi.

Huh, I thought you were supposed to have the capacity for 1.5x the vehicle weight. I figured 9k would be the bottom limit you'd want in a 4xe. Who knew?

Neither are, the shocks are part of a new lift kit from mopar.

So the regular bull bar is 300ish? So the light is $400?

Feel like I'd rather put that toward some LP6s, since I'd assume you can't mount any on top of this light/bar combo, and I'd rather not mount on the sidee of my bumper.

Are you referring to the Power Box? I read that it’s a hardware update. I’m guessing they added a large inverter to get 3400w. It’s a neat feature.

I wish they would/could offer that on my Rivian. It’s got several AC outlets but it’s limited to 1500w. Having that much power output would be very useful when camping or even giving your home a battery backup.
