Georgia YJ 1995 Inquiry

Question to knowledgeable jeep enthusiasts. I am seriously considering selling my 1995 4.0 YJ Sahara with 198k miles on original engine and 3” leaf spring lift on barely used 33” BF Goodrich A/T tires. Moderate condition for the age and kept up with regular maintenance, clutch work etc.. So, runs great but finances making the thought of selling it an option and especially since it just sits in the driveway. Gots some extras like a custom stereo system, 25g gas tank, hardtop, bikini top, cargo restraint, 2 spare American flag half doors and modern bucket seats but as original as I could keep it due to usual wear (paint etc). Hard with only 3 pictures but any idea what it should go for? Fair price value? Georgia is a popular jeep state but like to know what price or prices to consider. Thanks fellas.

Wow! Seeing JY’s going for much more and harder to find so definitely a surprising opinion but do appreciate it and noted. Definitely wouldn’t part ways with it for that. All the best.

Being in NY State, If I had found a Jeep in that he bracket that looked that good I would have bought it to be sure! Looks like you have a good one there and they are gaining some support and desire.

Thank you! Runs great and owned it since 2003. Well kept and maintenance always done as needed. Shame to have to sell it but family first. Will miss it when I sell it but want someone who buys it appreciate it as I have for so many years and get a fair price for it. Cheers!

Over the years I have given up on 2 of my Jeeps. The first was my 75 CJ5 that I sold before I got transferred to England for the USAF. The second one was my 2013 JK was sold due to a Mother in law that needed care in our home. There can always be another Jeep down the line. It’ll work out for you.

YJs are going up in value like other Wranglers. Any rust under those rock sliders? How's the frame?

Going up a lot in and becoming more rare. Willing to do a FaceTime for serious buyers and show them the entire jeep before meeting in person. 2 others in a little better condition sold for $12k and $15k but hard find and in southwest were I got this one many years ago. No rust under the sliders. Frame is solid. Took it to a

Put an inquiry recently about what people thought it would go for and no answers/replies. Did my own research online and only found two Saharas with 4.0 that sold in the last couple month in AZ and CO for $12K and $15K. Will keep going up as you mentioned. Hard to find the hardtop and back seats as well which I have. From my research and putting aside sentimental value, I feel $10K is fair and would sell for more if I did a little more fixes on it but hard to find time and do need the money or would never sell it. Frame is solid, no rust and would do a FaceTime for a serious buyer before meeting and show them the entire jeep and while it’s running etc. Can go deep into little details but normal Sun wear etc from the years but runs and drives awesome and only put like 5k on 33” BF A/T tires.
