I keep mine on the dash so the UV rays Jeep it sterile. I can go a month between washes. If I happen to sneeze in it, I just turn it inside out the next time I wear it, again the UV from the sun cleans it. I am joking!!!

I keep mine around the brake handle. wife’s mask is in her purse. Keep extras in the console for kids or if one gets soiled.

I do not like wearing them, but I do. I travel extensively for work (upwards of 40 trips this year both air and car). I do not want to risk bring the VID home or infecting others. I wish more peoplewould do the same.

Did you know 1918 Flu was H1N1, same as 2009? In 2009 they suspect up to 1.4 billion people contracted it - but again no widespread testing.

1968 H3N2 - .03% which is still higher worldwide death rate than covid-19, but not by much and they didn't have widespread testing.

The infection rate of something like a norovirus is MUCH higher than any of these. I'm just glad Ebola was not easily transmittable. That sucker was taking out most healthy people who got it, not just the elderly.

The bottom line is, these things could easily kill me or the elderly, but nobody cared because they weren't politicized and they weren't told to care.
No. People care, but they care less. And as much as I relate to your frustration and infectious susceptibility, public outcry is...well..a numbers game.

I know--it's ripping off the band aid fast and I don't want to sound like I don't care when I do but you and people like you with low immunoresponse capabilities are a minority. The people susceptible to COVID: that's everyone, of course you included even more so.

It stinks for you but democracies are suppose to focus on the things that can have the highest positive impact on the most people.

I simply don't buy, nor do the numbers , that things have come along comparable to COVID in the last 100 years in terms of contagion, debilitation and mortality and only with COVID are we making noise.

You need to visit the nih and cdc sites yourself then.
