Workshop lighting.

Saw a lighted cj grill wall hanging at the Smoky mountains Jeep Invasion. So I bought one from Facebook marketplace, drilled out the lights, added a strand of Christmas village lights And now I have some workshop lighting.

Of course, this now puts a different light on the ever-present LED vs Halogen vs RGB Halo discussion… (although the latter with a ‘Disco Ball’ from the ceiling could be a bit much )

All kidding aside, ‘tis impressive!

That's a good looking grill! I found a you tube video and went by it. Get the 9' strand of Darice strip lights. Toughest part was drilling out the headlights.

I watched the video. I was thinking about getting these lights....any reason you think they wouldn't work? I only want bulbs in the headlights and turn signals.

If the distance between bulbs on the 4 lights you’re considering is 18.5”, then I don’t think it will work because the distance between headlights is more than 18.5”. On the 5 light string I used, I took the bulb out of the middle light. I put light 1 in lower left turn signal, light 2 in upper left headlight, light 3 with bulb removed half way between headlights, light 4 in upper right headlight, and light 5 in lower right turn signal. I hope that makes sense.
