Hey all,

So my driver's side wiper arm seems to have come "unlocked." I can move it back and forth but cannot for the other side. If I try to use my wipers, the driver's side wiper is all over the place. Anyone know how to "lock" it?

@Young04

Sounds like you need to tighten the bolt that secures the wiper. Unless the windshield wiper linkage is broken. Hard to tell by the description of the problem you gave.

Wiper torque spec: 18 ft.lbs. or 25 N.m.

Here is another owner with the same issue:

@Young04
Well, did you get it working?
Sorry - did not get a chance to try this until this morning. Yes - it worked. Thank you again. Jeep has fewer than 1000 miles on it...must have come out of the factory out of spec,
