Hi,

This may be a dumb question, but your website lists three different winch mounts for the JL:
  1. OFF-SET WINCH MOUNT SET-UP (OFF SET TRIM PLATE, VACUUM PUMP RELOCATION BRACKET )
  2. CENTERED WINCH MOUNT SET-UP (CENTERED SETUP WITH CENTERING PLATE ONLY FOR SMALL BODY WINCHES)
  3. JL WINCH MOUNT KIT
I'm pretty sure I should be ordering the last option to install my Apex Badlands 12k winch in my stock steel bumper, but just wanted to make sure before I pulled the trigger on my purchase.
Did you buy and install? How is it and how does your Badlands work?

Yup, ended up getting the plate and installed the Badlands winch.

The Maximum instructions are beyond terrible (and that's being very, very generous). Luckily there are numerous other threads, posts and videos. Used the winch the very next day pulling myself and another truck out of some deep snow in the Colorado mountains.

I would recommend getting the winch spacer plates if you can - I had to grind down the handle on the switch so it would clear my bumper.
