I recently installed a JL Winch Mount. Installation went flawlessly, bravo on a great product. It just dawned on me though, as I just ordered one of your JL Stinger Bars, step 6 of the Winch Mount has me remove the two Inner Tie Brackets and at no time does it instruct to reinstall 5hem, so I left them off.
The instructions for the Stinger Bar appears to show the Tie Brackets installed in the photos with the Winch Plate and in fact looks like the same bolt hole is used.
Do I need to reinstall the Inner Tie Brackets to my bumper?
Great products folks, just need some clarification.
Thanks

Thanks RubiTrux for answering that one. We also find those brackets to be unnecessary. You could choose to reinstall them but we personally don't.

Thank you as well for the reply. Again, super happy with both your products and your distributor, Rubitrux. Great
