Where does this plastic piece go?

Popped my hood and found this plastic piece laying right next to the Engine oil cap. Any idea where it goes? Thanks!

I found the same piece in the same location as yours. Never have discovered where it belongs, so I put it in a drawer and will wait for someone to respond to your post!

I work in a auto assembly plant. Those come off your ac lines before they are hooked up. Someone on the line was being lazy and didnt recycle it.
