When does MY23 ordering stop and MY24 begin?

I am wondering if anyone knows when the 2023 ordering will stop and the 2024 ordering will begin. I am thinking June and August but that's a guess.

I am not in the position to order now but should be in the early summer. I am worried that MY24 may not offer an exterior color I like so I'm worried that by the time I am ready to order I can't get something I like. Granted there maybe a color I do like but the only colors I'll really consider are Gobi, Gator, Sarge Green, or Commando Green.

Any input is appreciated!

Last month a dealer here stated that MY23 orders were stopping at the end of February (LINK) and another dealer here just recently stated that this current build phase would be the last for '23 and then there'd be a pause in ordering, then a switch to MY24 (LINK and LINK).

Seems early imo, but might make sense if there's a bigger than usual change planned for '24 (or '25 if they're just trying to move toward an earlier release cycle). No idea and until Stellantis issues a press release, I doubt the dealers even know 100% what's going on.

Also, I heard from a reliable insider that the 2024 Wrangler is only going to be offered in 9 different shades of silver/grey and nothing else, unless you buy the new $68k High Altitude Freedom Edition with 30" spinners ?

Not to be a Debbie Downer, but Gobi and Sarge are the only colors you listed that came on the JL and only Sarge is still available. Gobi was available for about 2.5 hours on a Thursday night from 12:07AM to 2:37AM. Fingers crossed though for the others for you. I'd have bought Gator or Gobi if it was available when I ordered mine.

Tomorrow the 24MY order banks open. Not clear on everything but there is a lot of change to interior, tech, and capability. 23MY will finish being be built but no longer able to order.

You're absolutely correct. I know its just wishful thinking but I'll stay optimistic until we see what comes out.
