Wheels with removable rash rings

Hi Rick,

Here are a couple. This is same wheel mentioned with 37s on a Sport S with Rubi flares which are wider and axles are narrower then a Rubi.

Do you remember which backspacing you went with? 3.5 or 4.53?

4.53. same as you. Dirty Life DT-1, 17x9 -12 Offset, 4.53 BS.

Keep in mind though. Sport axles are narrower than a Rubi.

I hope you don't mind a question about your wheels.

Does Dirty Life provide different rings? Is the rash ring the same as the beadlock ring? Is there also an simulated beadlock ring? Looking on Dirty Life's website, it appears that everything listed as options is the "simulated" type.

I like the look of the wheels, and I'm looking for the rash ring. I'm just a little confused how to order the correct ring.

There may be times in the future that I would like to have the beadlock feature; but, for now, I am interested in the rash ring idea to protect the wheel in the rocks.

Thanks for any advice you can provide.

The simulated beadlock ring comes standard with the wheel and the actual beadlock ring is optional. They also have a optional plastic rash ring that is a little different then standard simulated ring. Not sure you need that IMO. Here is a pic of how mine came in the box. Simulated ring only...

Looks awesome, inspired me to order the same wheels. I was so worried about buying a non beadlock wheel that I may want bead locks down the line. I really wanted kmc 231s but I don't wheel enough currently to justify the hassle.
This solves that dilemma, and also gives me, what I think is at least, one of the best looking wheels on the market. Cant wait to pair with my C-rated 37" KO2s!!

Awesome. Glad I could assist spending some of your money lol. I really like the wheel and the rash ring is beefy and looks nice. As for the flares, I searched forever trying to find someone selling painted flares and couldn’t find any in time for the 37s going on so ended up buying new and had painted at a local shop. Little costly doing it that way. Definitely would try to find takeoffs. I bought new from sponsor on here. Benny @AllMoparParts.com was great to work with.

The stick-out wasn't nearly as extreme as I thought it would be when looking at the wheel mocked up without the tire.

Question for OP and other users of the DirtyLife 9303 DT-1's - From my reearch it seems like they weigh around 40lb, which is pretty heavy - is this number accurate, and have your jeeps had any trouble with this weight?

Also just ordered vision nemesis with 37 bfg km3. Thinking I’ll use plastic dip and paint them white, silver or red. Now just waiting on a friend to bring them to Kansas. Labor Day can’t come soon enough.

Only the beadlock capable wheels on the 392 JL....these wheels can also be purchased from Mopar. Wheels that accept rash rings are specially machined to accept this ring as it's bolted onto the outer rim, similar to a beadlock ring. Rather than actually securing the bead of the wheel, the rash rings are for cosmetic and protection purposes only.
