This is right behind the passengers side front wheel.
What is this? What was there that seems missing? Is this a hold point that was used to carry the body in the factory? And is anyone else's rusting?
It's also missing in someone's photos here.

mine is not rusting but scuffed around the edges so yea probably used in the assembly process..

Also present behind both front wheels on my ‘25. Assuming it’s used at the factory to move around the body.

wondering if it might be a good idea to slap a piece of zip tape over the hole to block moisture from splashing in the hole then spraying a little fluid film on the area?

I think your better off just spraying fluid film. If you trap moisture you may do more harm than good.
