I took a look at all the orders that have moved out of D1 status to see if there was any method to FCA's madness. (Spoiler alert: there isn't.)

You can see everything so far was ordered in early November or earlier and every one has an automatic transmission. There are some dual tops in the list which means the soft top isn't the limitation. The area listed is off the build sheet- for example, there was an order from Austin, but the sheet shows Dallas as the zone. The first three didn't have a zone (not listed in the Northeast?) Seats are either black leather, tan leather, or cloth.

Any way to know if there have been any painted hard tops go through? Maybe that's one of the bottlenecks? Seems like the ones we've seen pics of have all had black hard tops.

There were colored and black hardtops in the mix. That's not it.

Manual tranny is the only pattern I saw.
