Listening device? Look brother, we both know that "listening device" is capable of directed RF beam sterilization. It's how they control the population.

My Chevrolet truck had the real thing. It really did cool, or warm, one's personal assets quite effectively.

Yea we're all fucked with total idiots just relying on daddy ai telling them what they want to hear.
So what I gather from you and @Remorseless is for people that reply on AI for answers on this forum this device shoots reproductive organ damaging frequencies out at crotch level to try to speed up the Darwinian process. Brilliant!

I mean gleaning all that info from the Reddit Brain Trust seems like a credible source.

The shitty part is there are great resources on Reddit, but it takes reading and cross referencing things there to gather the good from the bad. Where ai just says "This is fact even though its easily proven wrong with a few minutes of research. But you are so amazing as to not need to do anything else"

I’m too lazy to wade though the BS on Reddit…or maybe just to mentally fatigued after wading though the BS here to also go on Reddit.

The biggest takeaway for me recently about AI especially as my son finishes his degree in graphic design is that hard work by one person can, as I understand it, be stolen by and celebrated that it was free to others. Something I hadn’t considered.

Oh yea the whole thing is trained on stolen works from all over the world. They download and rip books, youtube videos, art, movies and anything and everything else to train the machine learning algorithms behind the "ai". Facebook was caught downloading the entirety of libgen (a site that stores/pirates pretty much any book you can imagine) over 82TB of book files that are no more than a few MB each and usually a few hundred KB.

And there are currently reports of these companies buying rare and old books to scan because they are sure to be free of ai slop garbage and in the process are ruining them.

Its all stolen ip from real people they are using to make billions and the regular person has ZERO recourse to do anything about it. Its one of many reasons I hate the ai bullshit going on.

I will say I do love the irony of people being upset that AI is stealing stolen books.

Theres a difference in a multi billion dollar corporation that can afford to pay for them, or strike licensing deals, or any number of things using stolen art to enrinchen themselves and a college student that cant afford edition #754 of the same course book with a few extra commas added for $300.

Nah, stealing is stealing regardless of whether you could afford not to. Property rights don't change based on whether or not the violator is rich or poor.

Eh theres a moral argument in all of this that we will never see eye to eye on.

I have 0 issues with someone pirating a book that should not be as expensive as it is due to greed of 1 person, a corporation, or a school system.

I have a ton of issues with a company that has the resources to go about also enriching the lives of the people its stealing from to do nothing but make themselves and their shareholders more money they dont need.

Its the same thing with GTA6 and their bullshit going on with the cutting of content that should be in the base game to hide behind a pay wall, cutting a physical release in the first 6mo or year to drive a 2nd purchase, and other shady shit they are pulling. I will have no problem pirating the game to play the single player story.

Just like adblock. Its 100% piracy and I know for sure you use one.

Oh adblocks are 100% piracy, and I dislike that side of it for sure. But, security risks outweigh everything there. No way to allow ads without being vulnerable to the BS in the ad scripts, so, not much to do.

But yeah, I don't think we'll ever agree on this. I just find the irony amusing, people raging over AI corpos stealing stolen goods. It's beautiful.
