What is this?

Just picked up (another) JL and it has 2 of these brackets fitted. Now initially I just assumed they were light brackets and perhaps the previous owner decided to keep the lights but I can find no traces of any wiring and the Auxiliary switch wiring has not been disturbed.

Can't see any brand markings on the bracket and of course there is one on either side.

Any ideas?

I’m assuming a light bracket and he just took his wiring and lights with him and had never tied it into the aux switches

It's definitely a light mount. They may have used an aftermarket switch, or Bluetooth to control the lights. And been meticulous about removing the wiring to the lights. Or the dealership was good about removing them.

Or maybe they never got around to mounting lights after installing the tabs.

Definitely a ditch light bracket (Antenna also could have been a possibility, but probably not if there's also another one on the opposite side).

I'm guessing the previous owner stuck the brackets on there with plans to add light pods to them at some point, but just never got around to it.

I've never seen this particular model of bracket before so I have no idea who makes it.
