Im not a Jeep expert but love the look of the older ones. My uncle left me this one that was in the barn. No engine or transmission but vintage interior is good. I had a Jeep guy say the axles were worth something. And the doors were premium doors and that he had never seen the top cover before. Im looking to sell as I cant afford a rebuild project but not sure what to do. Any thoughts on what this is worth as is,? If it makes a difference I do have title to the vehicle. Its a 95 wrangler

Youd be better off going to a YJ forum. Or at the very least, a TJ forum. In 95, Id guess most of the people on this forum were in diapers or in preschool.
If I had to take a wild guess though, Id say 4-5K? Nice shape for a YJ man...

Cool old aftermarket hardtop and half door uppers. Don’t know who made them. Looks like a base 4 cylinder with no or few options. 95 had a galvanized frame and that’s hard to find. I’d say $4k if you have a title. No title and it’s parts value only.

Someone probably snatched up that 95 transmission for the external slave cylinder clutch, lol. Anyway…. It has a lift kit, the half doors are immaculate. The hard top and half door sliders are aftermarket. Unless the axles have been swapped out, they are not worth much. If the Jeep originally had a 4 cylinder engine, the axles are probably geared 4:11s,, in which case some YJ guy on a limited budget might actually buy a 30/35 set up for a direct bolt-in axle swap.

That YJ is pretty clean and 95 was the best and last year of them. It’d be sad to part it out. Idk what the prices in Texas are, but I’d guess with no engine/trans (hopefully it still has the transfer case) $2000 - $3000 would be a good price to start.

And YES (depending on the DMV in your State) the title is important! But not valuable unless it is a 1975 pre-smog title.

Ahem, I graduated high school in 1995. There are stacks of Gen Xers and Boomers here. OP, that is a nice Jeep and agree that you could get 4-5K for it. I'd offer on it if it were a TJ, my neighbor has a restored TJ and it looks like a ton of fun. I agree with @Kllrbee hit up a YJ or TJ forum bummer that you don't have an engine or tranny, but old Jeep engines and trannys are easy to come by.

Yeah, each state is different. Here you are in a real bind with no title, you have to go though the bonding process by finding out who last registered owner was and contacting via certified letter.

Good point Flatties...forgot 95 was the last YJ year. There was no 96 model Wrangler. That might make it a little more valuable to the YJ collector.

I believe the OP said that they DO have the title to the vehicle. Not being in the automobile industry, I wouldn't touch a vehicle without title in hand.

No title here, that's a $1500-2k vehicle. The only value here would be if you had a super beat up or rusted 95 YJ, and wanted to swap the VIN info over to the Jeep with no title, then rebuild from there.

OP states he has the title, reading is a challenge I guess. probably a fun little project vehicle for someone who has the funds.

I'd guess $2-3k. If the axles are stock they are worth their scrap value. I'd find a cheap XJ with 4.0 and swap the drivetrain.

I would love to have that, I have a 93 YJ, with that pristine frame / body, it would live Forever.
Central NY, all the Good Stuff is so far away, doggone.

$2-4K.

With respect, the single peek of the "vintage interior" that you've given us doesn't bring the word good to mind. It'd have to check off a lot of boxes to earn that rating. Mind providing a few more pics for context? What's the condition of the frame, suspension, brakes, etc.?

I purchased a 1995 YJ new in Dec. 1994, and do know a bit about that generation of Jeep.
