Today was the first time I’ve heard this noise, I’ve looked around but couldn’t find any answers besides maybe being a heating problem but the ac was turned to the lowest setting. Any idea what it could be?

Sound like a chattering relay. I’ve had tons of electrical issues based upon the stupid ESS battery and that sounds familiar. Never heard it when the vehicle was in motion though.

That sounds similar eventually mine stopped but I never figured out what it was. I’ve learned owning a jeep that there are random problems that come up that will eventually fix themselves.
Thanks for the note. I'm hoping for the same, but my OCD... lol

Same here, it sounds like an old hard-drive that's about to fail.
Comes from the behind the glove-box.
I can hear this noise after I turn off the vehicle and it lingers for about 2-3 minutes.
I've noticed this noise ever since my 12v battery crapped out on me once and I had to put it on a battery tender.

[UPDATE]
Found the problem - it's the blend door actuator behind the passenger glove box

Here is the video of my blend door actuator going crazy and making clicking noise after turning off the Jeep.

I just discovered this exact same noise on my brand new 2021 Jeep that I just got back in Oct. I actually came to this site looking to see if anyone had any clue what causes it. Guess Ill be taking mine to the dealership to have the blend door actuator checked out.
