You can finally build a JL on Jeep.ca

I haven't had a chance to explore it at all, but I noticed Jeep.ca finally allows Canadians to Build a JL on the website.
Apologies if this has already been mentioned but I did a quick search and didn't see it.

It would be nice if the inventory search listed models closest to the config you build rather than just every JL within 50kms

The price is comparable (close enough) when I converted it from Canadian dollars to US dollars. If I could get that price in Canada.....I would be driving to a dealership right now!

Unless I'm mssing something, seeing the prices in $ cad seems like a relative bargain. Several of the packages are significantly cheaper. (ie - leather seats $1495 usd vs $995 cad / $775 usd).

But looking, really, what I see is a pretty loaded out Sahara with leather, infotainment and dual tops for the equivalent of $45k usd msrp. I don't think you could get the same deal south of the border.
