Wastegate Actuator Rod

Been chasing a rattle when accelerating under load on my 25 JLU w/ 30k miles. Can anyone tell me if this is normal play on the actuator rod?

Yep it’s normal. Annoying but normal. The Alfa giulia guys have an aftermarket replacement with brass bushings that’s supposed to fix the rattle but it’s pricey. Like 120 bucks.

It actually shouldn’t rattle when you’re
Under load as the wastegate rod has tension on it. Usually rattles on decel from like 2k on down or on cold start.
