Wait on Soft or Hard Top

Say your committed at new JL purchase to buying just one type of top, Soft or Hard.

It isn't even really an affordability issue. You just feel, based on JK history that the market will provide better top options for the money if you wait.

The question is, does the market provide better valued soft, or hard top options based on JK history, compared to MOPAR [initial] offerings?

I'd say go for the OEM Hard top and wait for the massive amount of Soft tops that will flood the market. Bestop alone has several selections for the JK, and they've got several in the works for the JL already.
