Volume increasing without input

Should add - I have the speed sensitive volume turned on, but that should be decreasing the volume when I get to a stoplight, not increasing it. This happened three times and two of them were when slowing/stopping for a red light. Can't remember where the third occurrence was.

Volume also increases with speed and road noise.

There also have been reports over the years that stated bad clock spring issues as culprit.

I went through several months of trying to diagnose volume-fluctuation craziness. My findings?

NEVER ever use the OEM Navigation. It WILL absolutely cause intermittent volume fluctuation for seemingly no reason, even after you've stopped using the app. OEM Navigation will screw with your volume for an entire day. Or at least until the Jeep's had a nice long rest to reset it's brain.

It does not matter what settings you use, "Navigation" app will absolutely 100% deplete your sanity via random volume fluctuation.
