is there a way to get video playback on the 7 or 8.4 Inch uConnect screen?
When I search on youtube I find something called uConnect theather. Anyone know if this or something like it works on the JL?

I would like to be able to watch videos from a USB drive on the screen when in park...

I would like to know this as well. Methinks you would have to buy a Tazer Z to get this to work - https://zautomotive.com/product/tazer/

"Video Inputs (RA3/4): The tazer can enable extra video inputs for a front camera or video player. or both. The AV Cables are needed to add the video and audio feeds."

Bump. Any resolution to this? I'd love to play videos on the 8.4 while parked.

Couldnt find anything so instead I hardwired/mounted an 8 inched tablet to the dash above the uConnect screen and connected via bluetooth for the audio. I used it for navigation and media playback including video. The steering wheel controls when connected via bluetooth work with the media player for track forward and backwards. Pics to come later.

@RubiconRider which tablet mount did you use? That's a great solution!

Removed the radio/HVAC controls/touch screen and just tucked the wires behind the panels.
