The HDMI output included on the decks is a passthrough. The HDMI output volume is not adjustable.

At launch Maestro features will be the same as current Halo models. But the radios will have the ability to expand Maestro feature content through over-the-air updates as they are released.

You can pair multiple Bluetooth devices to the new radios and toggle between devices

All of the models have Hi-Res 720P displays.

All the radios have improved anti-glare over earlier generations.

Interesting. I just ordered DVR-C320R Alpine Dash Camera (mostly because I had a $220 gift card with Best Buy). This head unit looks slick, I already have a full discreet aftermarket Alpine stereo system and almost ordered the old unit. This lower price make it more tempting (more so with wireless car play).

Maybe Alpine wants to sponsor me for Jeep Beach and a few other upcoming events?

UPS lost it and ended up just going with a Garmin unit from the local Best Buy.

I just recently saw something about this unit coming out and I'm super intrigued. I have the 7" display unit now. Moving to this unit would be awesome, I think. I'd probably pay this price just to be able to get wireless Android Auto.

One question. And forgive me for asking what I'm sure is a pretty dumb question. Will this also need an additional amp installed to get great sound out of it? Or is the built-in amp sufficient to provide good, quality sound? I have a 2 door JL and have been told by a couple of shops that adding an amp on the 2 door is not nearly as easy as the 4 door Unlimited.

Any thoughts on that from anybody out here?
