Uniden CMX760 Mic Extension

I had this CB from my '17 Recon. Unfortunately it was totaled so I salvaged what I could. I didn't like the different brackets for the CMX760 on the JL so I found space behind the glove compartment. No issues wiring for power and the antenna, but I need an extension for the mic. It looks like an ethernet cable but I've tried Cat5 & Cat6 with no luck. Uniden's site has an extension but it has a 6 pin to 4 pin mic adapter which makes no sense if it's simply an extension.

Anyone solve this one?
