UConnect Issue - called UConnect to get status of their system being back online. It looks like their system has been offline for about three months; whereas they can assist with updates and no accurate information is available on their website and customer care is pushing customers to dealers.
My Jeep lost audio while running, nice and loud when I shut the Jeep off (until I open the door).
I have a 2018 JL with UConnect firmware version J6PRM000-CTP2_VP4-33000001-ev011.016 (I think this is correct) and I need three updates (I'm told) - QR39.6, MR28.3, and QR40.1
UConnect told me that I could not download these files and install them myself, because their website is down (same answer for months).
Questions:
First, where can I get these files?
Second, do I need to install these in order or only the later version (QR40.1)?
UConnect today me today to take my Jeep to the dealer. Called the dealer and they want me to schedule the update for three hours, and I have to pay the stealership.
Really? What the hell is wrong with UConnect?
Thanks,
Rick Cass
