Has anyone enabled the WiFi Hotspot feature on their JL’s? I am taking a day trip and wanted to try it out. I enabled it planning on paying for a day. Well there is no option to pay for it at ATT’s website and it works . Just says feature coming soon.

Fyi, I found this:

New vehicles come equipped with a complimentary 6-month trial period that includes up to 3GB of data.
The trial period ends when 3GB is used or after 6 months, whichever comes first.
After the trial period, contact AT&T to purchase these available plans.

Not sure, it was and option in the app section of the infotainment center. Never knew it was there

My jeep won’t provide any data through the WiFi connection and the link will not allow me to set up an account.

Will ATT be able to get me going?

Mine gave me a message saying it is not set up to work yet, but that it is coming soon. Anybody else get this message? Has anybody used it successfully?

It works. I enabled it a couple of weeks ago, while I could not set up the AT&T account, it worked. I think they give you a free trial at first. I’m hoping to get it on my AT&T mobile share plan. 10 bucks for unlimited data......until AT&T secretly slows the speed down

What apps are able to use this data? Can you run a music streaming service independent of a phone?

I used an iPad, well my mother did, while we took a road trip up in the North Georgia mountains. And it worked really well for her since she was annoying the crap out of me watching all kinds of Facebook videos while I was driving .
