Ahhh Movies refers to Travellink

Travelink does Weather, has a live radar MAP, gas prices and movie times/places.. it doesn't mean streaming movies
That is correct. I should have stated movie times.

I had the Uconnect 8.4 with Nav on my Compass and was kinda nice but for what the service cost monthly at the end of the first year not worth it.

Exactly! The remote features to unlock start and find car from very far away, other data features, etc are fun for the first year but crazy to spend money on after that. My Durango has it. If the 7” has CarPlay I see no reason to upgrade unless you LOVE music super loud. Although in that case you might be someone who guts the speakers and replaces them anyway.

Debated both these radios but I'm a weirdo and don't like using navigation features in my radios. I'd rather use a Garmin or google on my phone and could probably use Android Auto if I really wanted to. And I'm not interested in paying for any of the other stuff that's included from Sirius. Also, not a fan of HD radio and don't care for the way it sounds. Don't really listen to radio much anyways.

As a result, guess my choice was pretty easy lol. I'd have liked the bigger screen but couldn't really see spending extra for a bunch of features I didn't want and wouldn't use.

And frankly, even the 7 is quite a bit bigger than the screen I had in my current car.

I put that money toward painted matched fender flares instead :)

8.4 has bigger screen for carplay, it has off road pages, you can add front camera to it.
