Trying to fix Rear Camera

My rear camera stopped working....I was just getting a black screen. So, I disassembled everything in the back and indeed found where the coax cable had been damaged. So, I cut and spliced the cable, including a shrink wrap finish to keep all waterproof.

But when I went to test by putting her in reverse......my screen does not show the camera view OR GO BLACK. It does not even seem to register that I am in reverse. Is there some sort of reset needed?

I did check the fuse. I also bought a new camera replacement and installed that.

I also pulled the fuse, waited ten seconds, and reinstalled to force a Uconnect reboot.

Its a 2019.....I see there might be a wiring harness recall for the rear camera?
