Anyone here a fisherman and figured a smart way to travel with rods and such? Since I am also taking a pier cart in the back of my wrangler, so I almost have to hang them from the roof somehow to make it easier. Seems like a job for bungee cords but I figured someone here is likely smarter than I.

A pvc pipe is great for fishing rods but the biggest problem would be securing the pipe to the roof. If you had a roof rack securing the pipe would be an easy project. I use a rack made specifically for fishing rods but is rather expensive.

My pier/beach cart came with a receiver attachment option. I've removed the wheels and made other mods. Although I would prefer to transport the rods horizontally it gets the job done.
