Transmission Shop

If anyone is looking for a transmission shop I just had my clutch replaced by Mission Viejo Transmission. Of the 17 places I called they were the only ones who would:

A. Do the work
B. Understood why I needed the work done
C. Gave a reasonable estimate
D. Didn't talk to me like I was an idiot

It took about a day for them to swap out the clutch. They started afternoon on Thursday and finished up before lunch today. Total cost on labor was 1k. They also gave me a loaner car which was great because I don't live anywhere near Mission Viejo.

Time will tell how the work holds up but so far I'm happy with those guys. Logan the manager was super nice and helpful.

Glad you got it worked out, but surprised you had to go so far to get the work done. MV is a long haul for you!

TBH, MV is past my boundary of “Yeah, not really feelin’ like driving that far”—and I live in the same county. But I’ll hang onto the rec if it’s ever needed.

ha yeah it was a 1.5-2 hr drive for me. If I could have found anything closer I would have. I called 17 shops and this was the only one that would do it.

Ha this was many fenders/tires ago. I think those were my 33 KO2s.
