Transfer Case Fluid?

hi everyone, was going to change my front rear diff and transfer case fluid...

i found all the info for the front and rear diff, but what fluid does everyone use for the transfer case?

not sure if it matters but i have a 2018 automatic JLUR at around 30k.

also, has anyone had luck with FCA resolving the front grille yellowing?

Per the owners manual, the recommended fluid for the Transfer Case is Mopar ATF+4. I really doubt there's any difference between a top brand synthetic ATF+4 and Mopar.......except for price.

Here‘s a good transfer / manny tranny fluid diy thread. Outside of redline / amsoil nectar, looks like any ATF+4 will do.

FCA keeps the specifications very tight on ATF+4 to the point that they are all the same.

I typically use the Valvoline synthetic ATF+4 as it's readily available at the stores near me. Amsoil is always a good choice for pretty much any kind of automotive fluid.

I changed mine (transfer case) today @ 28K miles and planned on 1.7 quarts, ended up using 2.3 quarts. I have an auto with a LSD if that helps anyone (had to make a second trip for the ATF). Used Valvoline synthetic. My opinion? The ATF came out clean and did not need to be changed. I don't trail much.
