I’ve seen this trail on a few forums and am wondering if any Jeep members have done it. I’m considering this trip as my first trail as a new/first time Wrangler owner. Thoughts? Feedback?

Thanks for making me aware of it. This looks like something my son and I should do, me with my Jeep and he in his 4-runner.

I've done sections of it from IA to the Sparta area. It's not really much of anything, it's just gravel roads and back roads. Don't even need 4WD.

I did this several years ago. I really enjoyed it. It was not very difficult at all. I think the only requirement I would say is 4X4, and that is used very sparingly. I did it 3 days staying at cheap motels in LadySmith, and I think early on in Viroquo (Something like that). It was a 5 hour trip from my house to the start.

Its cool seeing the different terrains of Wisconsin change over a three day trip. Very different scenery. The hills and the Amish down south to the pine trees and forest roads of the north. I drove about 6 or 7 hours a day, going only about 20 or 30 mph except while in the blacktop.

I'm a terrible picture take so I don't really have much to show, but there was plenty of wildlife, views and scenery to take in. There is a cool spot in the southern section where there is a huge rock jutting out over the road.

I say take a stab at the T.W.A.T. Be advised, you might get soaked!!!

There is another one from Northern WI to the tip of the UP of Michigan called "7 Hour Plane Crash" that I have thinking about doing. I think it starts in Cramden, WI. Check it out.

I did part of it last year in the Kickapoo Valley area. My son had a new drone he was playing with and took some video. Some nice scenery in spots, but the trail was mostly like this. Eventually I want to do the part in Northern Wisconsin and do some camping along the way, but without the teenagers as they were bored.
