Trails off road Question

I have a TOR membership on my phone / PC. In looking at the adventure guides I came across the TOR / Jeep membership. The good people at TOR have offered to give me a pro-rated refund if I sign up thru the Jeep's QR code. They also have a link that will allow you to port the TOR / Jeep membership to allow you to use it on your phone or PC.

My question is: Will the TOR / Jeep membership work in the Jeep (uconnect 5) if I do not have Jeep Connect wifi thru AT&T. I had that on a 1 week trial when I got the Jeep, but never continued it. The Jeep is usually connected wirelessly to my phone and Android Auto.

You can connect via cable. I am not sure if trails off-road is an app on connect. I know Gaia is.
