Question on installing the Mopar 82216359AA harness. I've found a few YTs on the install most recent not needing to disassemble the ENTIRE jeep interior to run loom. I did a search here but same thing as YTs minimal detail or pics most feed back is in replies no pics.

My question when installing the Mopar harness above and routing through the frame does anyone have pics, insight, or suggestions when running it? Also I've read you need to build the 7 pin plug and instructions are Ikea pictures I assume black and white. If so any pics would help. I guess I'll get my answers once I install.

Side question if power is always hot to the 24v plug in rear of cab couldn't you pick up power from here instead of running all the way back to battery? Or another hot in same location...

Thanks in advance

A fish tape makes pretty easy work of the frame run. Push it in at the front going back to the rear. Tape your wires to the end of the tape, then pull it back out.

Don’t know about tying into the rear power.

There are excellent detailed videos on Youtube for bringing the wires through the interior.

This guy, like you've suggested, doesn't offer such detail but does appear to route the wires below the cabin.

I'm not sure what you mean by build the 7 pin plug. It is included in the kit.

I think you are asking about the cargo area plug, which is 12V and 20 amps and by default always energized. I believe the 7 pin harness features a pin at 12v and 30 amps.

If you plan on doing no more with the 7 pin connector than you would with a 4 pin (e.g. not running electric brakes on that which you are towing) perhaps you could use the cargo plug but I'd not skimp and do the install directly to the battery, especially if taking advantage of all 7 pin features.
