My new to me 2022 JL has a factory 2" receiver. Can I assume there is a factory wiring harness under there someware?

It would be easily visible if you have one. Chances are someone just added the receiver. If you only need the flat 4 connector, they are cheap and easy. If you need a 7 way do yourself a favor and get the Mopar harness.
