Trail Suggestions For NC?

We will be headed that way Nov 11th through 15th.

Arrive super early 11th and leave around noon 15th.

Let me know! Would be fun to run with a group!

Im planning a trip currently in that area too! Unfortunately, we may just miss each other - leaving Chicago the 15th, stay near Lexington that night before heading into the mountains the next day.

Bummer too, I could use a group to go with - I have only a little off road experience.

Weather has been pretty hit or miss. We’re gonna do brown mountain tomorrow instead.
The owner of our Inn is a jeeper, was wearing a Jeep jacket when we checked in and has a pretty neat old YJ. Recommended we do a park road run he called wisemans view. It’s a rough gravel road from Linville Falls to Lake James (SR 105).

The Wisemans view overlook was outcropped from the cliff and pretty spectacular. 13 mile run one way, there’s a fire road that off shoots about halfway up, too.
