Not sure whether someone else had a good idea, but this is what I came up with, as I do not like to rest the hood straight on the body when tipped over.
I took a piece of styrofoam, and a small bag I had around:
I then punched a hole in the bag:
Slid the styrofoam in the bag, and closed it with a shoe lace:
Et voila, tze protection izze ready
When attached this way, and when tipping over the hood, the little bag with styrofoam will slide by gravity in between hood and body. Cheap, easy, small, and light.
