? Threedom Custom Design Key Lock Caps?

Congrats on the new JL. Yup, the black key lock caps and their contrast, etc. with your color JL will really look good.

What design THREEDOM key lock cap did you go with??

My guess is after dealing with your new JL's, clunky fob.... with the key that deploys on it's own... you will be wanting a THREEDOM fob.

Just placed an order for these key cap covers. I was originally thinking of plasti-dipping the chrome key locks but these look much cleaner.

For sure plasti-dipping is a way to go and cost effective... but plasti takes a bit of effort to do and then if you need to access the key hole you have to bugger it up and eventually redo it.

For many years, in Cold Weather locales and Beachside locales, Muddy locales, I used black electrical tape or plasti-dip to cover the key holes on my vehicles... Reason for was to prevent frozen locks and corroded, salt/sand compromised door locks.

Can tell you the THREEDOM (USA Made) key cap cover with a design on them..... are well..... far far far nicer, make more sense, then black tape or plasti.

Went with the 1941s! Thought it would be a nice match to the retro styling of the Willys.

And yep you're absolutely right...don't love how large the key fobs are. Been shrinking down my keys for a while. I'll check them out!

Looks great! The black cap with the red is an eye catcher..... the Little Dog Paw design is a real smile generator...

Be sure to routinely coat your keyhole lock caps with 303 Protectorant of a similar product. Like anything outside that is made of plastic, Sun protection is a plus..

I just put in an order for a Green tread Model M and micro key holder! (I'd consider calling it "Olive" or something to distinguish from Lime). If I wanted to customize it a bit more, like color in the button diagrams white, do you have any suggestions on how I could do that?

I'm not sure if THREEDOM suggests/encourages painting or discourages painting of their offerings but.....

I know from reading/researching, that any grade Nylon PA12 material can be painted...
