2018 Rubi steel bumper

I Believe that a 2018 Rubi JL Steel bumper will fit on a 2018 JL sport front bumper, just double checking before I make the buy

I believe they do work, assuming you mean one in place of the other. I think the only thing may be the fog light mounts are different, but someone else can confirm.

Should fit easily. I've changed out a 2020 Rubi and a 2021 Willys from plastic to steel. Not sure about the fogs, but I'm sure they can be adapted.

as has been stated, the fog light brackets are different but can be swapped out or obtained separately if the bumper you get doesn’t have them.

you will however need a new close out panel (if desired and you’re not running a winch) to close out the gap between the bumper and your grille. Also, the plastic air dam underneath from the sport will not fit a rubicon steel bumper. I just replaced it with the rubicon steel skid plate.

I've got the Rubi steel bumper on my Jeep, a 2018 Sahara. Swapping bumpers was pretty easy but if you're using your old fog lights, you'll need adapters. They're readily available on Amazon or any 4x4 outfitter.

You are right. The led fogs have 2 different brackets, one specific to the steel bumper and one specific to the plastic. Same goes for the halogen fogs.

Also, there are 2 small brackets that get bolted to the lower frame tusks for the steel skid plate.

Good point. If OP is buying new skid definitely buy kit ??. My reference list above is for folks that pickup a skid with the bumper (takeoff/resale). Many times they are missing hardware. (Ask me how I know lol)
