They could've kept the CJ Name. So the JL would be CJ-14

Sahara is a very fitting name in Jeep History.

Does anybody else dislike or hate the name wrangler? Ive had 4 of them now and have always hated the name. Reminds me of jeans. Honestly i wish they were just called jeep or willys in honor of the original.

Mine is referred to as just “My Jeep”

Use a “Heat Gun” and gently warm up the offending “Wrangler” decal.
After warming, it will easily peel off.
No more Wrangler name......it’s just a Jeep!
If you want.....apply whatever symbol that makes your Jeep....personal to you.

There has to be an additional qualifier besides the "Jeep" moniker. When we both had Grand Cherokees, we called them my Jeep and your Jeep ... very boring. Having a Wrangler and a Grand Cherokee gives us all kinds of options: With the Wrangler ... Wrangler, Rubicon, white Jeep. With the Grand Cherokee ... Cherokee, Summit, red Jeep. Much more interesting ... and helpful in old age ... now I have several options when I can't think of what I called it last time.
