The price gouging manipulation doesn’t create good will towards them being reputable, not greedy. Another example is the SOT was $2K when a $2K painted top was standard. Not anymore, gouging for an extra $2K.Just retuning the 2.0T to bump it from 270 to 300 hp would, I'd suggest, steer more folks that way, if only for the bragging rights of a hp figure beginning with three.
If Stellantis also cooled their heels on the 850RE pricing, that would be even better. I paid $1,500.00 for mine in Sept. 2020. Since then, it hasn't stood still, bouncing back and forth between $2.5K and $4.5K(!), sometimes depending on engine selection. It's ridiculous.
