Just retuning the 2.0T to bump it from 270 to 300 hp would, I'd suggest, steer more folks that way, if only for the bragging rights of a hp figure beginning with three.

If Stellantis also cooled their heels on the 850RE pricing, that would be even better. I paid $1,500.00 for mine in Sept. 2020. Since then, it hasn't stood still, bouncing back and forth between $2.5K and $4.5K(!), sometimes depending on engine selection. It's ridiculous.
The price gouging manipulation doesn’t create good will towards them being reputable, not greedy. Another example is the SOT was $2K when a $2K painted top was standard. Not anymore, gouging for an extra $2K.

$2K for a two-row sliding fabric sunroof makes sense. At that price, I might've ticked the option box for the SOT. At $4K, though, it's a non-starter. I just don't see the value proposition at that price point. Convenience isn't that valuable or important to me.

Lord knows what the half door/soft upper option might cost, if or when it reappears. It was hovering at >$1K per door just prior to its disappearance. Like the ZF 8HP pricing, there's another money grab for which Stellantis really needs to do a bit of penance.

The final edition has XR, a winch, electric seat, and a few more upgrades …. worth $30K or ~40% more than a 21 ?

I XR’d mine minus the 8” wheels for the $4K, got my choice of 35’s (not KO2’s), adjusted the seat on the test drive almost 4 years ago- a couple tweaks since, had a proper over twice it’s weight 8K winch on my 63, don’t like the other “upgrades” other than the floating axle. And the SOT option is twice as much, paint, shipping higher, Ca sales tax about $2,500 higher, higher license and insurance. I don’t see it worth $30K more.

The 392 now starts at $102K, and goes to $110K when fully optioned. At that altitude, it's a toy. The oxygen is too thin for rational analysis. ;)

I love my 2024 392 and all the awesome upgrades it has over the previous years. It’s much more than what was listed. Worth every penny.

lol a 392 Wrangler after tariffs will be $150k unless every part on it is made in the US.

Great if the Hemi makes a return unfortunately most will never be able to afford one….in a wrangler anyways.
