Texan doing the Texan thing

I swear that terrible Texas drivers in the mountain west has become a meme much like Mustangs leaving car meets. This time the Texan drives on a closed trail, slides a tire off of the shelf road then loosely throws a strap around a small rock using a knot to secure it to the vehicle and declares "that's not going anywhere." I agree with the sheriff, some of the people out there on the trails are ass clowns. Luckily most run Texas plates so we know who they are.

When I see that sort of thing being done I always chalk it up to that person adding chlorine to their gene pool.

Some of us have lived in over a dozen states, and don't consider ourselves Texans.

Some of us are also quite adept at offroading, and are adept at winching.

I guess I'm lucky to have grown up in New England, and Illinois, and to have spent my youth skiing in the Colorado Rockies. I'd say I'm Texan at heart, never really felt like I fit in where I'm originally from. Different mindset I guess. But I can ski damn good!
