I just put 35s on my 2-door JL. To get the spare on, I installed a support mount and an uplift of 2 inches. The spare fits great. I had to remove the rear tailgate vents to install the upper bracket. The vents now will not fit back where they belong. I was just going to cut them down and reinstall them.

Does anyone out there know if they make a customized tailgate vent for the extreme terrain Spare lift? I actually covered the hole with some plastic, just to keep things dry, but it looks pretty Janky.

I now also know why they are there. I can hardly shut the doors with the windows up, These vents provide some pressure relief. LOL. So now I know.

I'm not familiar with the extreme terrain spare lift and can't really help but as an FYI, another important feature of the vent is to only let air out, not in. Otherwise exhaust can be pulled into the cabin.

Keep that in mind with whatever solution you come up with.

i removed my factory vent, used a spacer plate with about 1/8th space to let air in and out. Definitely gets dusty inside with the vent cover gone.

I have a cover over it sealing it off, thanks though that a good reminder. I may just have to modify the ones I have..

One thing to be aware of is that the purpose of the tailgate vent is to displace the air from the cabin in the event the airbags go off.
