I am replacing O2 sensors on my 2018 JLU 3.6 and I can't pull the connector off. I pulled the red tab but it will not separate. Any tips?

I'm am not 100% sure because I haven't specifically removed this O2 connecter. But typically the red piece you pull up or off is a secondary lock and there is still some type of detent or button you have to push. The red piece just prevents the detent from being pushed down, then after the red piece is pulled up it will let you push down on the detent button.
If that is not that, sometimes those connectors get dirt and stuff in them which prevents the detent from fully disengaging. Sometime applying a little force in the opposite direction (like you were rehooking it) while pushing the detent and slightly wiggling it will break free any dirt.

The red tab is locking tab. You still have to the release tab, after unlocking the red tab.

That matches my experience when I replaced an upstream O2 sensor on my Wrangler. 👍The same connector voodoo is evident when installing, for example, replacement tail light assemblies.

So how do you "release" it? where do you press/push?
Believe this is the connector you are talking about, or at least this style. You pull out the red locking tab. This then lets you depress the gray tab that sits right above the red piece....the piece at the bottom of the yellow markup.
