Stereo issues: turns off when connecting acc.

I have a 2019 sport with the basic stereo system . When you connect a phone or I pod to it , it will make a popping sound then reset . it loses correct time and everything ...anyone had this issue resolved ?

yes . it goes in friday dec 13th . help would be great . its going to lagrange country dodge and they dont have a good service dprtment so help wou;d be great .

I was told in Texas by dealer that is does not work at all with an iPhone 7 or above
