I have read numerous articles on this site, but none have really answered the issue I'm having.
We have a 2019 JLUR with the Mopar 2" lift kit.
The problem we are having is after straightening the steering wheel, then taking the JL for an approx 100 mile drive, the steering wheel will end up at 10 o' clock.
We have looked at everything underneath...no evidence that there is anything loose or out of spec.
We realigned the steering wheel again. Perfectly straight to start, but by the end of the drive it moves back towards that 10 o'clock position.
Is it possible, to have a bad steering box? Maybe jumping the teeth?
Any thoughts would be appreciated!

I'll check the steering shaft, that is the only thing it could be.
Welds are good, no cracking.

If you let go of the steering wheel, would it track straight or pull to the right?

It tracks straight.....
One of the chief complaints being remedied with the new steering box, is a constant pull to either the right of left that gets worse as temps rise from longer drives. Thinking that the built up heat from driving about a 100 miles might've been causing a drift that required the 10 o'clock position to resist the pull. The process of elimination game.

Are you continuing to further extend or retract the drag link length, to recenter? Or do you keep finding the adjustment in its previous location?

I know you mentioned checking for looseness, but did that include having someone turning the steering wheel back and forth while inspecting every joint?

ok, my bad.....found out the problem.
We have a teraflex track bar installed. The two small 10mm bolts that clamp the sleeve backed out just enough that it jumped thread teeth...causing the steering wheel to move.
It's all better now, and we will keep an eye on them. They had thread lock on them as well, so they shouldn't have done that.

Glad you were able to figure it out, and thank you for posting the fix.
